Press Release Body = Ebermannstadt, Germany, March 13, 2007. Vierling Mobile Communication is expanding its global network of sales and technological partners for GSM gateways. This is in reaction to the rising demand for GSM gateways, particularly in Western and Eastern Europe. Along with the normal deployment of GSM gateways for reducing the costs of mobile telephone connections, demand is on the rise for GSM gateways, especially concerning applications for the convergence of mobile telecommunications, landlines and internet telephony (voice over IP, VoIP). Vierling will launch a new, global partner program for distribution and system-house partners, and increase collaboration with leading telecommunication manufacturers.
New partner program "With the help of special training, we wish to give distributors and system houses the opportunity to qualify in their respective countries as Vierling business and application partners", said Vierling Managing Director, Wolfgang Peter. "Within the framework of the partner program, we will be paying particular attention to the expansion of support for existing and new partners. We will be emphasizing fair, long-term, commercial cooperation, the continuous flow of information in both directions, and firmly allocated personal contact partners. We have already succeeded in gaining new sales partners in France and South Africa."
Comprehensive telecommunication system compatibility Furthermore, Vierling will be concentrating on increased cooperation with the branch's leading companies. "Ecotel GSM gateways are compatible with the telecommunication systems of all manufacturers, and are being used globally," said Wolfgang Peter. "In future we will be working even closer with leading manufacturers to ensure the trouble-free compatibility of our systems. At the moment we are planning negotiations with potential, medium-sized technological partners, for example, at the CeBIT trade fair in Hanover (March 15-21, 2007)."
Increasing demand for GSM gateways In the past few months, the demand for GSM gateways from Vierling has been rising continuously. This is especially true of Germany, where there has been a steady increase in GSM gateway-compatible mobile telephone tariffs since 2005. According to Wolfgang Peter: "This trend is similar in Western and Eastern Europe. Word has now spread among distributors and dealers that much better margins can be achieved with GSM gateways than with many other telecommunication products. Furthermore, GSM gateways are becoming increasingly important for mobile integration applications."
The trend towards mobile extensions Mobile integration solutions allow staff mobile phones to be integrated as virtual extensions within the company's telephone infrastructure. If Ecotel GSM gateways are being used in mobile integration applications, mobile phones are integrated via inexpensive, mobile telephone to mobile telephone connections. Thus, the high costs of connections to staff mobile phones via landlines no longer apply. Through mobile integration mobile phones and landline phones can be reached via the same telephone number. At the same time, mobile phones will have access to functions such as transferring, connecting, conference calling and one single mailbox. Additionally, once the mobile phone has dialed into the gateway, inexpensive connections via VoIP, landline or GSM can be utilized.
